Chingas District is one of six districts of the province Antonio Raymondi in Peru.〔 Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática. ''(Banco de Información Distrital )''. Retrieved April 11, 2008.〕 It limits with the districts of Aczo, Llamellin and the Province of Huari. Chingas is one of the most productive valleys of the Alley of Conchucos. This district was founded on September 21, 1956. At the moment they have a population of 2,482 Inhabitants, being the density of its population 50,7 inhabitants by square kilometer. == Ethnic groups == The people in the district are mainly indigenous citizens of Quechua descent.
